Miss Carpenter has been at a meeting in Birmingham to consider the state of the \"dangerous and perishing classes.\" Emma Michell writes of illness in the Armstrong family. She hopes to be in Bristol on the 24th. Emma Michell expresses her fondness for Maria W. Chapman, and gives \"congratulations to dear Emma that she is restored to you in this time of anxiety.\""
