notes
"Holograph. In these notes, Maria Weston Chapman discusses the following topics: Mottoes for 'youth' [quotations]; Catalogue of the Library of M. W. C. [Maria Weston Chapman]; 11th Olympian ode of Pindar [quotations]; and Memorials of H. M. [Harriet Martineau] 'Fame.' In the last item, Chapman says that Harriet Martineau never thought of herself as a genius. This is followed by more notes on \"The Hour and the Man,\" a criticism of Cobden and Bright; corrections of proof-reading errors; and the difficulties attending the publication of \"Right and Wrong.\""
